Spending another afternoon on wikipedia

I've just come across a sentence in my meandering through the Generation articles that goes something like this:

"...they would have no memory whatsoever of the 20th Century and any predigital technologies still around in the Nineties."

I felt something close to a shiver running down my spine when I read that.
